The Fat Controller I didn't watch it. Will catch up on iplayer. The jury is still out on Matt Smith after the last series, he was a bit overly manic for my tastes...but I adored the Vincent Van Gogh episode last time round. It was wonderful television and stood out like a jewel in the crown amidst the shit we are subjected to on a Saturday night. Ditto Merlin...great great telly. There is talent in television still and the beeb are still head and shoulders above ITV for drama. Which reminds me...I'm perhaps the only person left in England with dandruff.
steveimp The Astronaut coming out of the water is already an iconic scene!
Brian Best episode in years. For the first time since Ecclestone I might start watching regularly again
Hamlet I thought it the best opening episode since the new series began. The new aliens (the Silence) are excellent and the Doctor being 'killed' was rather disconcerting.
Pumpkinhead I enjoyed it.
