angel My child never gets more than half an hours tv a day. I am however encouraging her to like Postgate stuff or else. Modern kids TV is not good for their attention span.
The Fat Controller Oliver Postgate was an amazing man. And what a wonderful voice he had. His narrations were superb and his voice so relaxing and yet magical. He would have made a superb chancellor as everyone would have been under his spell as soon as he spoke...'I'm going to wave my magic wand and take ten pence from every pound you earn...whooosh...it is done...'
Pumpkinhead weird but cool - on BBC4.
