The Fat Controller He's only writing how some people really talk, innit!
BarntheBarn I agree Veritas - after so much pointless profanity I gave up.
veritas I never got through the one King novel I tried to read.
The Fat Controller One of the greatest writers of the last 100 years. Not recognised as he should be by the snotty literary know alls. I'm a big fan of horror literature and for my sins my favourite writer other than King, Wheatley....is Guy N.Smith. I recommend his stuff if none of you have ever encountered it.

...and it's not about the perils of promiscuity....it's giant crabs wreaking terror along the Cornish coast.

Must get round to reading Full Dark; No Stars, JK.
JK2006 I've finally read the last story in Full Dark; No Stars.
A Good Marriage.
Sensational; a terrific and extraordinary work.
About a wife who discovers her much loved husband is a serial killer.
Tremendous. Buy it and read it.
