BarntheBarn Mark lives just around the corner from me here in beautiful Oxford. Fascinating book.
andrew A great book JK I borrowed my parents copy years ago and recommend it to my tutor who once worked for special needs kids.
JK2006 a novel I've been wanting to read for several years - and, as suspected, it's fantastic.
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time by Mark Haddon.
A superb look into the mind of an Aspergers boy.
When I had an expert on one of my radio shows years ago, discussing Autism and Aspergers, I said "the one thing I'd want to do is hug him or her" (this was before such an admission would have got me 7 years) and they said "No - that's the worst thing you could do".
This novel explains why.
Brilliant.
