JK2006 It really is extraordinarily good; Leigh gets better every bloody time! Anyone who hasn't seen it; the DVD is available dead cheap on Amazon - I insist you purchase immediately!
robbiex I totally agree, this is my favourite film of the past year, even better than "the kings speech" in my view, and certainly better than the overrated "Social Network". You could feel for every character. It was thought provoking, heart warming, and heart breaking, I was rivetted to it.
JK2006 Actually, although I said every actor is outstanding, Lesley Manville really deserved her numerous awards - she is incredible.
JK2006 I've been looking forward to watching this and finally managed to make a couple of free hours to really concentrate.
