JK2006 Ed equally ghastly at this - and the entire House of Commons is falling apart here. Since the public like simplistic solutions and the media believes in catering to them, we are bound to get extreme and ludicrous decisions made and we - the tax payers - will pay.
In The Know I see that morose "I haven't got a clue" Millipede has jumped on the bandwagon now.

PS - What kind of person has to have a "secret" wedding?
Someone with no friends perhaps?
JK2006 condemns Clarke's idea of early release for inmates who plead guilty (an awful idea - but he knocks it for the wrong reason) - by saying "we don't want killers back on the streets within days". No, we don't, Mike and you know full well that wasn't the suggestion and also that we, the public, are now so stoopid and are pandered to by the tabloids that only simplistic, caricature, slogan three word headlines get considered these days.

Hell in Handcart?
