Innocent Accused I doubt it would be possible to have a democratic election there in the current climate.

JK2006 His point - Gaddafi says "if Libyan people say I must go, I will go"; the opposition say "he must go now - then we elect a Democratic leader".

Seems slightly undemocratic to me to remove one of the possible candidates BEFORE election.
