robbiex I have to disagree. I found it melodramatic, emotional, thought provoking and and never boring (unlike the drab Social Network). One of the best films of the year and Natalie Portman won a deserved oscar for her role.
BarntheBarn I always like Natalie Portman before this. I thought the film was okay but terribly over-rated
JK2006 I absolutely hated The Black Swan. It's like a dreadful over the top Freddie Mercury 80's video for a fantastic piece of music and it ruins it. Tchaikovsky must be turning in his grave in horror. Natalie Portman is quite dreadful. Badly directed, badly written, badly acted, ghastly camera work, unsubtle editing, even the wonderful music is terribly performed and the dancing is shit too. Bad bad bad.
