veritas	the media for decades pushed the phoney notion that most of Scandanavia was suffering from some sort of mass depression or alcoholism because they were...dread of all dreads..socialists ! it sounds very similar to my bank robber Swedish friend who in jail was encouraged to work on his own business..in his case a video import company when that ended up being highly successful. We like to pretend jail is for rehabilitation when we almost do the opposite and actively set out to alienate the majority of those who end up in the clink. I blame the media
JK2006	on Norwegian prisons with some fascinating facts; only 3,420 inmates in a country of over 5 million and one of the lowest re-offending rates in the world. They treat people like human beings. We Brits have so much to learn.
