just think of the void they would leave for other businesses to start up..they would be pounding down the doors to even if they paid top rates of tax..that's how capitalism works..any profit is preferable to none.

Go on veritas - do it (risk YOUR money) - and show us how its done instead of rabbitting on ?

I think I was wrong-your'e an ex-News of The World hack aren't you?
Locked Out I'm not evading any question. You accused me of supporting scroungers, something I have never done. When you begin posting stuff that I believe you mean - rather than stuff I believe you think will simply cause an argument I'll take your postings seriously enough to properly engage with you.

My mother, bless her, is coming up for 90, so a hip replacement is not really likely. And even if she were in need of one {which she is isn't and, as I have already pointed out, in all likelihood never will be} I wonder if the NHS {this is the same NHS who have to ring me up in order to find out what dosage of methotrexate they have been prescribing my wife with for the last twelve years} will actually be up to the job regardless of how well funded they are.
I do wonder...

Why dont you stop evading the question ?

OK, your Mum may not need a hip op, but next time you need ANYTHING - and the cash is not there because its already been paid to scroungers - will you still be supportive of them?

If the answer is "Yes" then I withdraw further questions as I'm obviously speaking to Jesus Christ !!!

Brilliant scheme. Shoot the unemployed after 6 months.

Yes - then we can spend the money saved on deserving causes (like those who have actually worked and contributed to society.

When your mother needs a hip replacement, and is told there is no money left, will you still be so keen to support these scroungers ?

there is a solution..cut out corporate welfare ( as large as individuals) and make corporations pay their real tax..ban tax havens or if a corporation (like News Ltd or Topshop or Vodafone-the list is endless) bases themselves in a tax haven then tell them to bugger of and set up shop in the Canary islands and see how much profit they make there
