Locked Out But it was you who brought your "ancestors" into this. Neither I or anyone else has ever asked you what your family history involves. Yet you repeatedly insist on giving us little snippets of your glorious heritage. You probably think it's impressive. It isn't. The only person interested in your personal information is you, so please stop accusing other people of trying to wheedle it out of you.

Just as I thought ... NOTHING to brag about !
No wonder you and some other posters here as so like-minded !

(Try as hard as you like I'm not going to produce "evidence" simply to convince someone who I neither know nor care about. Your opinion matters not one jot to me - nor ever will.

I've already stated that I dont bandy confidential info on the internet as security is very important to me).

Yes - my ancestors were (like me) huge achievers (perhaps because they did some work and didnt live of ... oh, there werent any benefits then were there?).
Those who didnt work hard starved to death !!!!!!!!!!!!

As well as the Governor, we also have Archbishops (note - plural), people who worked for the Monarch, loads of Colonels and Lt. Cols, we didn't really go in for the Navy (but the one who did became a Vice Admiral !), and more Knights (inc "of the Garter") and Baronets than you can shake a stick at !

We only have your word for it that you are personally a "huge achiever".

I think it more likely that you are simply attempting to bathe in the reflected glory of your purported ancestors. The reflection, by the way, is not exactly the same thing as the original. Your words make you sound more boastful than personally noteworthy, though this is hardly a new development. Whatever, it might be best if you didn't "bathe" in anything that originated with the "Vice Admiral", a colloquial term dating back to the C17th for someone who pissed under the table, fouling the stockings of his drinking mates. I can see how the lineage has progressed from one who gives to one who takes.

She's a huge achiever here LO!
She's managed to annoy more registered posters than anybody before,oh and she's also managed to make no friends!
Quite an achievement

Actually, I can see you as Governor of Kandahar or somewhere like that in the 1850s

One of my Eyre ancestors was once Governor of Jamaica, does that help ?

..... and before he became Governor of Jamica, he spent some time in Australia.
Veritas may be interested to know that Mount Eyre, Lake Eyre, and the Eyre Peninsula are all named after him.

I cant really seen a mountain, a lake or a peninsula being named after an apologist for looters and theives can you ?

Or perhaps its those that have never achieved anything that just egg on and support these rioters - as they have zilch to lose ?
