TED I think he's being way too nice to Obama. Basically nobody even knew who Obama was until he started campaigning. He had a successful public relations campaign that turned him into a brand that was easily sold to the american people. But it was all lies and empty promises. There's nothing I can point to that makes me think Obama is smart. Where are his contributions to science? Where are his great works of art? He doesn't have any. He's just another lousy politician with a lot of money.

But I don't hold it against Clooney. He just shares the same sentiment a lot of liberals have. But it's probably good he's not running for president. The US has already had one actor as president and he was terrible.
