Martin K Interested in the story KC, e-mail me.
KC I know a man whose life was totally devastated as a result of suggestions by the Daily Mail that the residential school he worked at was riddled with paedophile activity. Their story resulted in a wrongful conviction, the death of one of the former pupils, and the creation of a gaping hole in the British care system.

This was all done from a distance. Not one DM reporter visited the school or even tried to talk to any of the residents.

Just a gutter rag as far as I'm concerned.
Martin K ...I have never supported it`s politics, but I appreciate the arguments.
It`s a well put together read ,easy to access, and a decent sports section. Their cricket reporting beats the Gaurdian hands down. (and one of my best mates works on it.) Hiya F, and thank me for the plug!
JK2006 for my assessment of the British press.
It's a very interesting time.
