Of course for me Rachmaninov rools OK but Mozart's Clarinet Concerto is a lesser known masterpiece.

Allegri's "Miserere" {got the spellchecker twice there...} does it for me every time. Just close your eyes and bask.

Music is one of those things that doesn't necessarily get "better" with the passage of time.
I still think Mozart's Requiem is one of the most epic masterpieces ever. You can put this music to anything and it'll make it hundred times more dramatic. No wonder it gets used over and over again by film makers and artists.
