Prunella Minge There was a bunch of youngsters on Eggheads today who, when asked questions on 1980s movies, kept complaining: 'I wasn't BORN then!' I wonder how they coped with History exams!
Dixie It's 70mph. To allow you to get up to speed to re-join the motorway lanes. Obvious really, but it was a question in the Speed Awareness course you can go on if you get caught speeding, according to The Telegraph. I got it wrong too.
JK2006 30mph? I think if I was on the hard shoulder, I wouldn't be moving at all!

I only knew the answers to a few questions, often ones that the students didn't know the answers to. At 10 years your junior, what does that make me?

Oh, and here's a question, (from an article in saturday's Daily Telegraph Motoring section). "On a normal UK motorway, what is the speed limit on the hard shoulder?"
JK2006 I knew the answers of many University Challenge questions but couldn't convert them into words until too late.
