JK2006 Finished now - another wonderful novel, particularly if you love music.
My goodness, this year's crop of books is sensational. Thank you Stella.
I heartily recommend Half Blood Blues by Esi Edugyan and I'm afraid it's off to the Bookies again. For me, neck and neck with Pigeon English as the best of a terrific bunch.

I do love September and my six novel reading month!
JK2006 I'm only 3/4 of the way through Half Blood Blues but it's terrific too; so far 4 out of 4 are tremendous, fully justifying Stella Rimington's instruction to select readable novels.

And it's not just me...
