JK2006 ... in the classy and expensive Chris Beetles Gallery in Ryder Street, St James (surely some mistake - isn't it Beatles?) for the star studded launch of Roger Lewis' brilliant new book What Am I Still Doing Here? Everyone was there - including the delicious and lovely Molly Parkin who looked gorgeous and took most of the attention in a room which ranged from Richard Littlejohn and Quentin Letts through Barry Cryer to Lynn Barber and Valerie Grove. Literally anyone who is anyone in London literary society was there and most had read about the BBC apology, so I spent the time fielding journalist questions.

Champagne and orange juice flowed; dozens bought the book; Roger's lovely wife Anna was the perfect hostess and everyone agreed it was a great success.

I am mentioned in the book.
