david I'd completely forgotten to watch this, even tho as a linguist it's right up my street.

Fortunately it looks like all episodes so far are still on the iPlayer.

JK2006 If you've missed this, please do catch it on iPlayer; it really is terrific and I predict will win a BAFTA.

The last one includes Bob Dylan and Stephen King (I'm delighted Fry loves him as much as I do - though we both should if only for his name).

It is erudite, intelligent, entertaining, educational and thoroughly enjoyable from end to end. Hamlet in Chinese is almost as funny as the sublime Atkinson/Laurie sketch.

I think perhaps we'd better make him Lord Fry!
