Is anyone experiencing problems buying Kindle books? I was given a Kindle for my birthday a couple of weeks ago. The first time I tried to buy a book the 'unusual activity' prompted my bank to alert the fraud department and my card was blocked until I went through the convoluted process of getting through and explaining it was all legit. Fair enough, but I tried to buy another book last night and it happened again! This time they said 'as a matter of procedure' they would have to cancel my card and send me a new one - a huge inconvenience at this time of year. I don't feel like trying again with amazon. Is this a unique problem or has anyone else had similar issues?

I would love to get the Kindle simply because it's cheaper to download books and less storage. I can't wait for the prices to drop.

but my autobiography has slipped down the Pop Culture chart to No4 - buy it for your brand new Kindle (and you can get the Kindle app for Mac free if you'd like it on your laptop) as a great Xmas read!
