How very forced. In the States it's normal to use the phrase 'person of colour' and it has always been defended, naturally, by the NAACP. So I guess if a British player signed for LA Galaxy he'd suddenly stop being offended by the phrase. Bizarre.
This ridicules almost every person uses it even blacks do my old boss was black and used the term colored all the time.
I have West Ham archives on tape and pundits are '3 colored players scored for West Ham today.' He says it with enthusiasm like it will evolve to more and more and it has.
