I thought last years was the better of the two, but it did have the benefit of the delightful Katherine Jenkins. |

Delightful?
Pathetic.
Who is Dr Who for these days? Babies? |

I thought it mundane at best. Predictable 'life affirming' ending, silly plot involving trees becoming stars in the sky (yuk) and a completely wet mother who bore no relation to real hard as nails 1940s wartime women.
Better than last years though. |

Thought it was wonderful myself, loved the Doctor's tear at the end. Also loved the way that WW2 was portrayed in the romantic way it was, people were constantly resourceful and Madge quite accepted a Spaceman crashing into ground near her and the TARDIS de-materialising at the end. A real piece of Christmas drama, if anything the light to the dark, depressing mood of Eastenders (Deadenders more like) later on in the evening. If anyone smiled in Eastenders, there would be a government inquiry! |
