I think you are in the range (36-38 mph in a 30 mph) where you can go on a Speed Awareness Course. If you get an option, go on it. It means you avoid a fine and the points, (but obviously pay for the course, which is slightly more than the fine).
I went on one, with all the negative thoughts, but actually found it a few hours well spent. I no longer speed, except on the Motorway, where 70 mph (on clear condions/road) is too low. (And nothing I learnt on the course suggested otherwise). |
