Hamlet I thought it was superb, however I've not read the book.
JK2006 Agreed PH and WHERE WERE THE RATS?!!!
Pumpkinhead I can honestly say I think the David Lean version was better.
JK2006 Well; Part One was brilliant; Part Two not good; Part Three OK but why screw around with the plot (and the ending)?
You cannot do better than Dickens.
Gillian superb; Winstone superb; Suchet good; Booth has such fabulous lips I couldn't concentrate.
Shame this wasn't a 13 part series; why truncate it?

Anyone who hasn't read Dickens, my favourite is Bleak House but I recommend A Tale Of Two Cities as a starter; you'll then be hooked for life,I promise.
