JK2006 It was jokey Angel! As you know, I'm a Salmond fan and would like him to become Prime Minister of the UK please.
angel I'm confused by your first paragraph JK. You're not for Scottish independence but you'd like an independent London? Why so? My view is that if Scotland is such a burden on English tax payers then why not let "us" go? Sorry ITK but I'm not well versed on the subject enough to comment further. I would love Scotland to be independent because I trust Mr Salmond and Co. They've truly got Scotland's best interests at heart. More than can be said for the other parties towing the Westminster line.
In The Know angel ..... ?
over to you !
JK2006 What a silly idea. Why?
I was born in London. For 45 years I've lived in London.
But I was brought up in Surrey.
I quite like the idea of London leaving the UK and becoming independent. I feel more Londonish than English or British.
But why?

Mind you, I am very much a humanist. I think of myself (some would disagree) as a member of the human race. I wish we were totally a part of Europe.
I think Morocco and Tunisia should be in Eurovision.

I'd like the wealth of China and India to be part of our economy just as I've always believed we should help the poor in Africa.

Hanging gays in Uganda is as offensive to me as doing it in Britain.

Sending people who fall in love to prison when in other countries it is completely legal offends me.

So; I'm a Londoner, a Brit, half American, bi sexual and very very old.

No to Scottish independence.
