JK2006 What an extraordinary 6 hours of magic tennis!

I woke early, watched it for 2 long sets, drove to Surrey to my friend Deniz for tea, watched the fourth set on his HD TV, drove back listening to the (excellent) Five Live coverage, reached home and watched most of the final set.

Arguably the greatest match ever. Certainly the longest Grand Slam final ever.

Extraordinary tennis.

Both players were quite stunning. Poor Andy Murray must have been gasping whilst watching them.

I have very happy memories of those legends of the past and it may just be time passing, but this must surely be the pinnacle of great tennis.
JK2006 Nadal (from sunny Spain) sweating like a pig; Djokovic (from icy Serbia) cool as a cucumber!
JK2006 Both Nadal and Djokovic are bigger than me on it.

As for NEXT Sunday - imagine the Superbowl! And my Giants thrashing the favourites - the New England Patriots.
