In The Know Sir Chris Hoy's father has criticised ticket arrangements and wants tickets for the families of those competing.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/olympics/17636313

Hold on a minute !
Don't I recall him and his family being in Beijing ?
Presumably they paid for their own tickets / trip?

Then I read on ... and found this snippet -

"David Hoy and his wife, as well as Sir Chris Hoy's wife, are currently in Melbourne watching the cyclist compete at the Track Cycling World Championships".

So it seems that they are quite capable of paying then they have to, (because they knew there was no alternative?) but are quite happy to freeload if the opportunity presents itself ???
