JK2006 I've ordered it already Robbie (always meant to watch it)... but Hugo is not a "children's film" (just as, for me, Blood Red Road, His Dark Materials, Lion Witch Hobbit and Potter aren't either - just great books/films).
robbiex If you like Hugo, then you will love Amelie, a 2001 french film starring Audrey TouTou. It has the same sumptious look and feel about it, with gorgeous colours, except it is for adults not children. Sadly there was no 3d around when it was made. It even gets 8.5 on imdb, which is a brilliant score.

Amelie
andrew The Artist was a joke they copied scenes from famous movies.
Bill K Great movie - should have won the Oscar for Best Film, ahead of The Artist.

Curiously, not a box office sucess.
andrew I can only watch 20 mins of 3D film, Hugo is not a great film it's a fantastic film. I wonder if any Ben Kingsley films are lost or wiped.
