steveimp Now RM is blaming the lack of action in closing the News of the Screws earlier on..... the readers of the News of the Screws! He suggests that these readers didn't read the Sun in general!
steveimp Wasn't it the Murdoch press that tracked down Jeremy Brett to a hospital in an attempt to find out if he was dying from AIDs, days before he passed away?

You want and need a campaigning press, not one full of tittle tattle that doesn't really matter and panders to idiots (idiots with money to spend on the paper though, lest not forget.)

How has he made a living all this time without HIS staff doing the same thing to others?
steveimp RM has been 'not me guv' all the way through his evidence. And I sort of half believe him. I don't really think he realised that the Spitting Image depiction of Sun journalists, as pigs wearing hats, was probably not far from the truth.
