Pumpkinhead Have to admit that Russia deserved to lose; they just wasted chance after chance.
GoldenBallsup U nailed it PumpkinNut.

As ever, a forward desperately defending is a liabilty, and good-guy Carrol lunged to concede the free from which the Swedes scored against the Turnips.

Wonder Woy Hodgson is also a goodie given a poison chalice at the F.A. Palace-of varieties.

But watchout for Der-Angel Merkel's men led by a free-scoring Spanish sounding Gomez ?
Alan Latchley When Andy Carroll came to Liverpool the medical staff knew he was injured but were amazed at how poor his general fitness was, so the sports scientist there designed a diet and also gave him a special exercise regime that involved heavy weights to improve his upper body strength. Halfway through last season Dalglish decided that regime was making him sluggish, so he scrapped it and gave him another training regime to increase his speed. The result was that he suddenly got much leaner and quicker and his form improved dramatically in the last couple of months of that season and won him an England place.
Pumpkinhead For me, the key player last night was Theo Walcott, scoring one goal and setting up another. Without him, England might have been in real trouble. Well done Roy Hodgson for recognising the need and making the changes.

I'm still tipping Russia to go all the way.
