In The Know Following the criticism made against the police in recent cases - when they tried to "sell" a prosecution by releasing info to the press to colour any future case - we now have a new take - double spin !

"The police CANNOT confirm that a suitcase may contain items suitable for bomb-making" .... or today's "the police CANNOT confirm that they have found "martyr videos"

How can ANY of these claims have got out if the police had not "let slip" the information?

Unless, of course, journalists are making it up as they go along? Surely not !!!!!
