If I was forced into BB, I would see it as my duty as a prisoner of war to escape. Hopefully in this daring escape, I would get enough publicity to finally achieve my "hit"! |

BB reached its peak with Victor, the "Jungle Cats" and the others I've forgotten about. Its lost all its novelty and the auditions (I went last year) was full of people desperately trying to be wacky/zany.
However, given a choice of BB for the rest of my life or ITVs "The Mint", I would go with BB. Or a quick death. |

...one wonders how many acts will be missing though. |

Never mind there is hope, for example the current documentary series on bbc 2 showing tonight at 9pm "The history of light entertainment", tonight focussing on pop music. So far it has been a brilliant series, do yourselves a favour give x factor a miss and tune in to this interesting and nostalgic documentary series. |

...the ultimate disgraceful reality TV show entitled "Shall I get My Coat?"
The contestants are asked to perform the usual fodder, and the TV audience are not allowed to applaud, until after a ten second gap after the performance, which is ended by the contestant asking the question.."Shall I get my coat?
Assuming the audience do not like the performance, the performer walks off in silence, takes the coat from the studio hand and walks off.
As the public seem to want to be ridiculed, without being thrown to the lions, this is far more pc.
The exploitation of tourettes syndrome on C4 has been well lectured on, and will continue to be for years. If C4 think they are doing their bit for the disabled, then it is about time they allow wheel chaired persons into the house, and make it properly available to all. |
