Being not very tall at school, I once questioned why I was expected to jump over the same size hurdles of those much taller than me.
I think I got sent for a detention, but the head sent me away and said that what I said wasn't wrong or naughty, but absolutely correct!
GoldenBallsup
JK Gold-medallist hurdling clean over all so called 'obstacles' deviously placed in his unstoppable tracks by a gutless system of media-creeps/compo-seekers/legal-vultures & bent-cops(is there a straight one?)
1-year on, check the bereaved mum of 'eliminated suspect' Mark Duggan (dad to 4-young kids) unlawfully killed by trigger-crazed cops, all then refusing to answer ANY questions in ongoing serious enquiries. Great examples to the Great British Public eh ? "Er, NO COMMENT!"
Not forgetting that the spark for days of devastating nationwide riots ('cept for calm/pissed? Scotland & Ulster) was not the killing and quick cover-up, but that the family's peaceful protest outside their local cop-shop was summarily dismissed by COPS' CONTEMPT!
I'm a very good sprinter but hopeless over hurdles. One the other hand, my brother can bound over hurdles with no problems.

was HURDLES. For some reason (my body shape, I suspect, which my Mum attributed to my American Dad) I found it incredibly easy. Very long legs and virtually no waist (then) made it easy for me to run and jump at the same time, so I won all the races.
Boring, though.
Since then, it's only been swimming (and breast stroke at that) which I not only enjoy but adore.
