Pumpkinhead Toscolano Maderno is a kinda small town with a friendly atmosphere .. and lots of yachts. I was only there for a weekend but I enjoyed it. It was sunny until the morning we left when the heavens opened. In some ways it's similar to the English Lakes District .. although generally warmer. Worth a visit if you are touring Italy.
steveimp My favourite place in Europe - Bremen in Germany.
Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, with a Windmill right in the centre of town.
I go once a year.
JK2006 Looks like it's near Trento and Molveno - the surprise hit of my summer holiday in the Dolomites. Italian lakes are fabulous. Let us know what you think.
Pumpkinhead To a place called Toscolano Maderno.
Anyone on this board been there?

The weather forecast is good.
