Hedda why do they trot out Gamble?

he was a disgrace the way he manipulated the 'evidence' in Operation Ore. He lied in the House of Lords. The only way they could get rid of this dodgy character was amalgamate CEOPS knowing he would take his bat and ball and go home. So much for his dedication to eradicating child abuse.

I'm surprised he even survived Ireland. The IRA hated his corrupt guts.

How on earth did they allow him to make McCann a spokesman for CEOPS ?. While I have no clue as what happened to Maddie McCann her parents should have been charged with child neglect like some poor sod in a council estate would have under the same circumstances and had her other kids removed.

Where are the real protectors of children?

I suppose we'll have another few weeks of every ratbag jumping on the Savile bandwagon.
JK2006 The utterly loathsome Jim Gamble makes the valid point that, if I were investigated and prosecuted in 2000 (for crimes that never took place) why wasn't Savile?

And reading between the lines he asks the very valid question - when my case was so high profile and had such massive media coverage - as did Gary Glitter, Pete Townshend, Chris Langham - the "I wouldn't have been believed" explanation by "victims" does not stand up at all in the Savile case.
