Or maybe we are better than that? it's a fair question but one you should direct to the editors of tabloids who promoted Jimmy Savile tirelessly over the years despite them claiming knowledge of rumours. I don't think anyone on this forum was in a position to turn their backs. It was the mass media who were wringing their hands in grief a year ago over Jimmy's death.
