JK2006 And a last word for fellow novel lovers; Bodies is even better than Wolf Hall, in itself a stunning achievement.
JK2006 Even though there are no other posts in this thread, it's nice to see 810 people have been prompted to READ it in the last twelve hours.
JK2006 Victory! Wonderful, superb Mantel wins.
I'm longing for the third volume and hope that wins too.

And just one more word of praise for LAST year's Shortlist; far better than this year's, though Hilary would have won against them too.
