Blimey Foz, I thought I was a nerd!...I was referring to the wiki link Jim posted that he thought was a '73 Shadow with rubber bumpers....That one was a US car. Jimbo's is definitely a UK RHD series 2 in the picture from the compo story. And you're right that people did upgrade them...But I can guarantee that they didn't upgrade to 1977 bumpers IN 1972!! Unless they had a crystal ball

There are real legal complications here and as Savile is dead as you point out his estate could have been deemed to already belong to those it was left to ie- it's not Savile's. They alleged victims have all come out after Savile is dead..should have made their moves before he died. But it will all end in litigation and the lawyers will hoover up the lot. Then again if Raccoon proves to be legit and some sort of conspiracy is uncovered...phoney victims could be in real trouble. Heaven help those not living in council flats who own property. Believe me..suing Savile's estate is one huuuuge mistake for those hoping for a quick quid.
