CONtraversialView Finding and exposing bad journalism is what GOOD journos should have done years before today's sorry mess.

Like say, in 1981 when most GOOD journos left Rupe and the last GOOD Times ed. Harold Evans also left in total-tabloid disgust to write his great expose, "Goood Times Bad Times."

Disaffected Times GOOD journos also laft to re-form as The Indie in 1986.

GOOD journalism, finding and exposing the facts, as close as possible to the Criminal Court supposed 'high-standard', "The Whole Truth, And Nothing But".

Which is not what we have now in the Beavis & BUTThead race-to-the BOTtom low standard.

For now, we'll say we good Evening, er, Standard ?
JK2006 Terrific tiny bit in the Times accusing him of lifting passages (and mistakes) from Wikipedia.

My favourite piece about the entire project. That's what journalism should be about - finding and exposing such stuff.
