JK2006 That's really awful Cilla.
And funny.
cillas big arse theasiawebsite.com/images/stories/band_photos/promophoto1.JPG
JK2006 she was then the oldest and looked awful.
But you're right, ITK, bizarre that 116 years ago - no cars, no phones, no electricity...
and I think it's been the speed and increase in communications that could finish us all off.
As we get more satiated with standard news, we crave more and more extreme drama.
The media gives it to us. Politicians decide they must be seen to react to it.
And the world explodes through exaggeration, inflation, lies and fantasy.
I bet you this globe is over by 2050.
When I would have been 106!
In The Know I read this story earlier in the day and have been mulling over living that long ever since !

Not sure I'd really want to lice to that age, but by the photo the lady looked remarkably well.

One thing for sure - no other generation will ever live through such a period of change ... this lady was born pre-electricity, phone, cars or planes ... and lived to see man on the moon !
JK2006 I'm 117 Cilla and fucking well preserved!!
