In The Know I recognise many of the Sheffield locations in the movie.

Very fresh and different .... Would like to see the stage version.
JK2006 Had the DVD for ages but was just never in the mood. I think Last Tango got me in the mood for Northern brilliance (Alan Bennett is perhaps our greatest living Englishman - as well as one of the few prepared openly to support me 12 years ago).

What a marvellous film. What a great writer.
