JK2006 So yesterday I went to JD Sports, still having their Sale, with up to 75% off (and a clever policy of putting the original and recent discount prices on all tags) and spent £125 buying all my SUMMER clothes - track suits, T shirts, shorts, swimming trunks, socks. Would have cost £700 normally (and will again in May).

On the other hand, my trip to Harrods last weekend was spectacularly unsuccessful; some lovely designer name jackets and stuff but all around £450 each, down from over £1000 but still. I bought nothing (and they didn't even have Iberico ham!).

Nice though they might have been, I decided buying a £450 jacket and wearing it would be like wrapping a turd in silk.
