Topic History of: Dan Sabbagh in the Guardian clearly knows more than we do... Max. showing the last 5 posts - (Last post first)

I look at columnists ages & mostly come to the conclusion, that age plays a lot in what they say.
Sabbagh was born in 1971. So, doesn't really know anything about Savile, the 1970s, or much else, before the 1990s.
A decent columnist should clearly of been born before 1955, to actually any clue about 1970s history.
I'd go down the road of saying (not doubting) that 99% of all stories on Jimmy Savile, are complete fiction.
I was reading a post (on another site) going on about people stealing information from posts on Pop Forum sites, & then trying to sell the info on Ebay, together with editions of Top Of The Pops & vintage recordings of Radio shows (that had been shared on media share sites) for a profit e.g. an edition of Alan Freeman's Pick Of The Pops from 1962, was selling at £10 a go. It didn't actually belong to the seller. He'd half inched it on a download & decided to make some cash. So, there are many crooks, that would also sell lies, for cash.
It's quite a crooked world, when ex detectives are also in that business, along with police, newspapers & TV companies. What a crooked country indeed. How to beat a recession...Just lie, until your blue in the mouth.
A new TV series called Cowboy Correspondence Claimers, might be a good idea. A TV crew visits the general public, that tell lies, for a living.
The first show investigates how a mother aged 53, set up an accident in her local Supermarket, so she could claim £20,000 in damages.
The 2nd show, explains how a woman, falsely claimed £15,000 from an ex record producer, after he apparently brushed against her in the studio
The 3rd show, covers a man, that sued a Newspaper, for falsely calling him an idiot (after he spent all his schooling in a remedial class)
The 4th show, investigates an ex detective, who conned viewers in believing a make believe documentary, concerning an ex Popstar, whom he set up, to be a male prostitute
The 5th (& final show) covers a conspiracy involving over 200 men & women, who falsely accused a dead DJ, of molesting them & claimed a total of £4million in wrongful damages
That 5th one, would be a must watch! |

a lot of hacks showing themselves up as complete fuckwits with the Savile matter.
It's all assumption..even the plods say they didn't investigate the claims..just compiled them. Even though they also pronounced guilt.
Perhaps Sabbagh has seen all the evidence from the over 400..oh no it's around 214 now isn't it ?. Which makes you wonder what the other 200 odd said..false accusations ?
What I find fascinating is that the combined mass media have re-written history and tens of 1000s of readers agree : Jimmy Savile wasn't a much loved television presenter and personality, and the combined Fleet Street tabloids didn't love and promote his corny but lovable image and mad hair...they obviously hated him and said so.
didn't they?

Like the Police, he's found evidence and proof that Savile's accusers are real victims...
"Any newspaper editor would have known that relying on 20-year-old evidence from once-vulnerable women could easily have been demolished in court; and once again the newspaper would have been shown to be "proven wrong" when, in fact, the women's story and the journalist's instincts were right." |
