Cruel bastards.

hedda	brought on by an incident a few nights ago. At a dinner party- a long time acquaintance..very left wing hackette..launched into the 'pedo' rant and blathered on about a well known deceased politician and the lives 'they had ruined'. I was bored stiff and needed to make an exit to keep a late night date..words were exchanged and I did my best impression of Rumpole..rule of law..innocent unless proven...etc etc..and swished out the room and house vowing never to speak to the hag again. (Sadly this particular host does the most sensational champagne and chocolate sorbet which I missed).
