bh No surprises, it reminds you of an ITV series. ITV screened their own series "Father Brown" with Kenneth More in the role, in a prime time slot in 1974. Again from G.K. Chesterton's books & film.
JK2006 Interesting; not very good but clearly an expensive ten part series for Daytime viewers (2.15 each weekday afternoon); lots of good period detail; the kind of thing normally on ITV like Foyle's War.
