It's all just history repeating

We mentioned last week that there
was a publication doing the rounds
in the early sixties that covered
both otters and Jimmy Savile -
basically being Popbitch nearly
half a century ago.

We've since got our hands on a copy
of it. It was called the New Venture
News and their interview with Sir Jim
is quite an eye-opener.

Highlights include:
* The reporters telling us Jimmy had
a young lady with him, introduced as
"the daughter of the man who directs
Top Of The Pops on TV".

* Jimmy claiming that "the law" was
his specialist subject.

* Jimmy confessing to his most
embarrassing moment: "Being caught
with five girls in a caravan at
Great Yarmouth by the girls' mother
and father."

* And his greatest piece of advice?
"Whatever ya do, don't grow up
like me".

Do you see this as evidence of his deviancy?

I see Mark Williams-Thomas is expecting that dreadful programme to get an award.

The Royal Television Awards tonight - in which 'The Other Side of Jimmy Savile' is in two categories @RTS_media
END QUOTE

I see from reading his twitter that he has once again linked to a site that appears to encourage the abuse of young children. He appears to have a very unhealthy obsession with the subject.

What are those categories 'shitest documentary of the year' and 'biggest joke of 2012'...?
Hyram P Goode-Resin John Le Mesurier seems to have worked out Savile fairly early on. When Le Mesurier lived at Ramsgate, there was a big poster on the station that featured Savile declaring: 'This is the Age of the Train'. Every time that Le Mesurier went to walk past it, he'd stop, stare at it and say, 'C*nt!' and then move on.
In The Know An ex-policeman is being investigated over claims he "acted on behalf" of Jimmy Savile before the TV presenter was interviewed by officers.

The former police inspector is accused of contacting Surrey Police in 2009 during an inquiry into historical sex abuse allegations against Savile.
