All our leaders (like Clegg and experts) saying "we have to allow the accused to defend himself"?
Like the Cardinal... Catholics and Popes say... "we have to allow him to defend himself"...
And Stuart Hall and all the others... "we must allow them to defend themselves".
And what is the defence? "I didn't do it".
The exact defence I produced (failed badly - not "a good story").
Even when people (like me) can prove we weren't on the same continent as the "victim" (poor "victim").
"He (or she) got the dates wrong" say the prosecutors and judges, rejecting the defence.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could say "look here's a photograph proving we never had sex and here are ten witnesses"? But the prosecutor then says "sorry, mistake, it was three weeks later".
