hedda	the subject has just come up on: The Death Of The Life of Jimmy Savile. It seems that yet another who jumped on the "I knew Savile was a pedo" bandwagon Roger Jones, who claimed he refused to allow him to be involved with Children In Need had a murky background in Thalidomide : " "I was never convinced that it was a classic teratogen ((a drug causing physical defects in a foetus)" A reply about Jones from Christopher Lingard, Legal Adviser,Thalidomide Action Group : "Unfortunately, since the Seventies, the level of the settlement has proved inadequate. Perhaps as Mr Jones and the other pharmaceutical companies rake in their profits, they will reflect on the fight that the British victims are still waging for realistic compensation." as wise old Hedda always says : those in the business of "child protection" are the ones who should come under the microscope.
