JK2006 6.7 million viewers - very good for these days.
In The Know Yes, excellant ... wasnt going to watch at first but glad we did.
JK2006 It was terribly well cast (with some wonderful British actors in quite minor parts), beautifully written (quite different from both movies) and wonderfully filmed.

I actually loved the second film (Eliot Gould/Cybil Shepherd with Ian Carmichael and Arthur Lowe) which was unusual - covering a Hitchcock movie - so this is the THIRD successful rendition.
JK2006 Everyone involved in the production should be proud; even Hitchcock would have admired it.
