honey!oh sugar sugar. I am afraid the following quote from Dr Jon Bird reveals the motive behind many complaints.

JK2006 "bring things upon themselves"... if you believe in past lives, that makes sense. "Deserved it"? To me a totally different thing - except that's how the media works. Nudge the truth, colour the words, sneak a few levels of extreme in... it's a better story.
MCR Media 2nd interview here apologising for saying victims deserved it due to past lives.

JK2006 Wonderful link, Honey, as it illustrates the gradual Chinese whispers that the media specialises in... a better story is less "open" so "implies" becomes "says" and so it goes on. Next we'll be reading of him boasting that he's buggered millions of babies in the last week.
Chris Retro Mr Roache has gone up in my estimation. Maybe his wisdom is what keeps him looking so young?
