Sad news about John; I'll pass that on to his other friends.
The problem with The Look Of Love is... it is so joyless. Soho then was the exact opposite.

I never knew Raymond but my friend Michael Summerton knew him very well, so I got to hear all the genuine personal facts behind the public story. I also joined Raymond's Revuebar when I was 15 (illegally). So bizarre; naked women on stage, unable to move.
## a good friend of Michaels, John Booth has just died from cancer in Thailand.
I recall seeing Raymond quite a bit around London. I think this film may make me nostalgic for a London that no longer exists. I started going off the place around the early 90s. I loved Soho...now I cannot stand it.
